Grizzlies End Playoff Drought With Series Win Over Spurs
Z-Bo, Grizzlies Snapped Their Winless Playoff Streak
With Friday night’s win against the Spurs, the Grizzlies won their first playoff series after losing 12 straight playoff games. That is the longest streak of any of team since expansion started in 1950, as shown in the table below. Only one team has waited longer than the 15 years the Grizzlies took to win a post-season series. The Indiana Pacers waited 17 years from their 1976-77 merger into the NBA to get their first playoff series win in 1994. The Bobcats have a chance to break that record, their losing streak is still current.
