Kings Looking At Point Guards Outside Of Draft

San Antonio Interested In Trading Parker?

It appears as if the Kings are committed to winning now in Sacramento.  Evident by their talks with the San Antonio Spurs concerning point guard Tony Parker.

On San Antonio’s side of the story, it could mean a changing of the guard.  Confidence must be high in George Hill, if this occurs.

Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski:

The San Antonio Spurs are engaged in discussions about trading point guard Tony Parker to secure a high pick in Thursday’s draft, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. The Spurs have talked to teams in the lottery, including the Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings, who hold the fifth and seventh picks, respectively.

But is Parker on the move, or Hill?

League sources said Hill also has drawn trade interest from teams willing to give the Spurs a pick near the back end of the lottery.

Jonathan Givony from Draft Express via Twitter:

NBA sources say San Antonio has offered George Hill to Milwaukee (#10), Golden State (#11) and Utah (#12) in exchange for their pick.

With the Spurs looking to roll the dice, it’s the Kings who are also looking to make waves on draft night, as they are interested in another Western Conference lead guard besides Parker.

To find out who else they are interested in go to Kings Gab
