2011 NBA Draft, Picks 9-12: Kemba And Jimmer Go Back To Back

SG’s Burks, Thompson: #12 Utah, #11 Golden State

9. Charlotte Bobcats: Kemba Walker, PG, Connecticut

My #2 rated player in the draft behind Kyrie.  It would be interesting to see D.J. Augustin and Kemba Walker share a backcourt.  Bobcats are fortunate to select a winner like Walker.

10. Sacramento Kings (via Milwaukee): Jimmer Fredette, SG, BYU

Fits perfectly next to Tyreke.  Will translate his scoring prowess and outstanding three-point shooting range to the NBA.  I believe he will average double-digits during his rookie campaign in Sacramento.  Visit Kings Gab

11. Golden State Warriors: Klay Thompson, SG, Washington State

Another prime-time scorer, who will make the Warriors that much more exciting to watch.  Good size for a wing.  Unselfish and will be able to thrive at the three-spot, if necessary in the Bay Area.  Visit Warriors Gab

12. Utah Jazz: Alec Burks, SG, Colorado

The run of four of the top five players on my draft board.  He is such an all-around player, similar to Brandon Roy at the shooting guard position.  If only they would’ve drafted a point guard at #3.  Anyways, Burks is a cool customer and will be an instant impact player.
