Dunking Ninja In Nation’s Capital?
With Kanter, “their” guy, likely gone at No. 3 to Utah, the Wizards are probably going to take Jan Vesely.
Even more indication to Vesely landing in Washington, the Czech Republic Embassy has been invited to attend the Wizards’ draft party at the Verizon Center tonight.
Complimentary of Michael Lee from The Washington Post:
For what it’s worth, the Wizards have invited staff members from the Czech Republic Embassy to attend the team’s draft party at Verizon Center on Thursday. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the Wizards will take forward Jan Vesely with the sixth overall pick, but it certainly is an indication that he is in strong consideration to join John Wall in Washington.
It has to be true, right? It’s almost a lock, with Bismack Biyombo (if not, Brandon Knight) expected to be drafted by the Raptors at No. 5 overall. John Wall has to be licking his chops – the “Dunking Ninja” and JaVale McGee on the frontline throwing down alley-oops from Wonder Wall, The Phenom!
Rumor about Raptors-Biyombo at No. 5 from ESPN’s Chad Ford via Twitter:
Starting to hear pretty strong signals that Biyombo is going to Raptors at 5.
