Brandon Jennings led the Bucks with 22 points.
Stephen Jackson made his debut with the team starting at small forward, logging 17 minutes and six points.
Newcomers Shaun Livingston and Beno Udrih were more successful in their debuts, as the two point guards both played more minutes than Jackson — Livingston collected 14 points and six assists in 35 minutes and Udrih had 13 points in 23 minutes.
Mike Dunleavy also made his debut as a Buck, hitting a go-ahead three-point shot with 1:20 remaining to put Skiles’ squad up 90-89. Dunleavy finisehd 3-12 from the floor, 3-8 from beyond the arc, and had 13 points in a team-high (tied with Andrew Bogut) 38 minutes.
Bogut added 17 points and nine rebounds.
The Bucks were outrebounded 52-39 on the glass, 15 to 8 on the offensive boards, and were outscored 30-14 in the third quarter after leading 52-41 at halftime.
D.J. Augustin, who led Charlotte in scoring with 19 points, produced the go-ahead layup with 36 seconds left to put the Bobcats up 93-92.
Rookie Kemba Walker notched 13 points (7-7 FT), seven rebounds and three assists in 21 minutes off the bench.
Boris Diaw earned 9 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists starting at center for Charlotte.
