Bobcats Maul Knicks 103-71 In Summer League Game

The Charlotte Bobcats were not showing any mercy on the hardwood, as they just beat up the New York Knicks 103-71 Saturday. Bobcats guard Guillermo Diaz led all scorers with 14 points, as the Bobcats had five players in double figures. Guard Nate Robinson scored 11 points to lead New York. It was the final NBA Las Vegas Summer League, for Charlotte, as they finish the tournament with a record of 2-3. New York plays their final game tomorrow against Minnesota, the Knicks with loss fall to 2-2.

San Antonio Spurs forward Roger Powell scored 15 points, and center Ian Mahinmi recorded a double-double scoring 14 points, and grabbing 10?boards as the Spurs defeated the New York Knicks Wednesday 82-67. New York was playing in the Las Vegas?Summer League contest without their first round pick Danilo Gallinari?who was out with a sore back. San Antonio came from behind in the game, as with two? minutes left in the third the two teams were deadlocked at 51-51.? New York was led by their newest player point guard Anthony Roberson with 12 points.? Roberson who played for the Denver Nuggets in the season completed? last month, signed as a free agent with the Knicks earlier Wednesday.
