Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade’s status going into Friday’s game against the New Jersey Nets is uncertain as he has had the flu bug for the past week; despite that, coach Pat Riley had the entire team (including Wade) gather for a film and conditioning session Thursday for the “healthy” players.
Riley told the Miami Herald that Wade probably had no business practicing last Monday, when he first had the flu symptons; Riley added that Wade should’ve stayed in bed instead of attending Tuesday’s shootaround before their game with Boston.
