Jermaine O’Neal Trade Talk Nearly Dead

The “Star-Ledger” reported Wednesday morning that trade talks concerning Indiana Pacers Jermaine O’Neal have been scuttled, because of his problems with his knees. According to the report, the Pacers tried to deal with a few NBA teams, including the New Jersey Nets. O’Neal recently said that he was not concerned if he was traded or not. Last week there was some speculation that O’Neal could have been reunited with his former coach Isiah Thomas in New York. The trade rumor that was out there mainly involved O’Neal in exchange for Zack Randolph, apparently that trade will not be consummated.
